Well, hey….ME TOO! And that’s why I’m here…
Why was Love.Messy.Life. started?
I am starting Love.Messy.Life. because I believe that sharing our stories with each other is important.
I love learning through other people’s stories about their life and experiences. It reminds me that the human experience is both fiercely personal AND inherently shared. Honestly, it helps me feel less alone.
I also love to write and sharing my stories on a blog gives me an excuse to do just that 🙂 My hope is that something I write about in this blog helps one person feel less alone.
In short: Love.Messy.Life. is me Loving MY Messy Life by doing something I love and putting that love out into the world. I would love if it inspired others to do the same!
Love.Messy.Life. has 5 main sections:
TRUTH: I believe that well-being and growth begin with truth. In this section, I’ll share my truth, stories of truth that I’ve found, and information and perspectives from people smarter and braver than myself.
LOVE ON PURPOSE: I believe that love flourishes when we do it on purpose. In this section, I’ll share things I find helpful for nurturing, protecting or healing the relationships where love lives.
EMBRACE THE MESS: I believe that messy parts of life are inevitable and play an important role in shaping who we are. In this section, I’ll share thoughts, struggles, ponderings, questions, memories and stories from the messiness in my life and what I’ve learned (or am still learning) along the way.
FULFILL YOUR LIFE: I believe that we are supposed to love and cherish our one, precious life and that striving for fulfillment demonstrates our appreciation of the gift that it is. In this section, I share stories, ideas and things that help me feel fulfilled and hope they are contagious and inspirational.
MAMA LAIN: I have a 15 year old stepdaughter, a 1 year old daughter, and I’m pregnant. As any parent knows, kids and parenting have a way of creating stories in our lives. These posts will show up in the other categories too, but I will use this section as a one-stop-shop for all Mama and Parenting-related content.
